Hey Dad, thanks! I spent the whole day trying to take some better photos that can be printed on postcards/announcments for the show, and that is what these photos are.
I had to set up a stand, hang the work in a room with natural light, and I used flood lights too. The I used L's Nikon, because my camera wasn't cutting it, only 4 megapixels, L's is 10. It was a lot of work.
Bit late in the day to add a comment... but I want to!
When I clicked on 'comments' I was a little spun out because I thought that was you at the top... and it looks nothing like you in the videos! But then I read the comments and realized it's your dad - Hi Mr Donovan ;)
I'm sure the postcards will come up great - you did a great job with the images.
And one final comment - you have a very eclectic style - which I think is great!! One of my Uni lectures one said that my design work was so varied that it was like that of a schizophrenic... I took it as a compliment ;)
Oh yeah, I have always been all over the map. If anything my recent work has become more homogenous, and I am planning on making some paintings that look like they are made by the same person, haha.
I was always interested in Greogry Gillespie, Gerhard Richter, and Johnathan Borofsky. They all have really eclectic productions.

The drawing of two birds arguing in the middle of the collage is great...I also really like the painting you're preparing for the Richmond show...

Hi Bill... and Bill...
To be honest, I'm confused when I saw 2 Bills in the comment fields from post by another Bill.
But now I understand. Nice to see both of you Bill the father and Bill the son. :)
But to be honest (again), I hope I didn't get many bills at my mailbox at the end of this month. :D
bill its time for the bird to go to FIMO.
use the 3d printer in your mind!
d, do you mean the clay called Fimo? Or is it an acronym for something that goes F* I* My Opinion? Honest question.
I have been thinking about making sculptures of the bird, and then casting them in resin. There is a place in manhattan that gives classes for free.
