They were good to see in person, because they were less technically good and more imaginatively good than I thought from just seeing them in books. The guy has a lot of skill, but he definately was trying to get across his inner vision. Occassionally some of the cross hatching was sloppy, which you can't see in books. Most of it was pretty tight though. I liked this pic I posted, which was four small pencil drawings framed together.
